Fencing involves a significant investment of time and money, and by taking advantage of technological advancements, farmers can save both.
This year at Ag in Motion, farmers will have a daily opportunity to watch demonstrations of two different fencing systems, both of which can help support a better bottom line.
Fencing demonstrations will start with post driving, followed by fence wire installations, demonstrating how quick and easy fencing systems can be installed with minimal effort. Participating companies include FenceFast and AGI.
FenceFast saves time and improves quality
FenceFast distributes the EZG Manufacturing Stretch-N-Go Hog, STOCKade Power Stapling systems, Gripple brace and connector products. These products work together to create fencing that saves time while improving quality, consistency and safety.
The Stretch-N-Go Hog is a fork-mounted unit that will be driven along a fence line dispensing up to 4x 100m wire mesh rolls or six-barb wire rolls at tension using a pair of rubber coated braked tension rollers.
The STOCKade ST400i Cordless Fence Post Stapler will be used to secure the fence wire. For quick, consistent wire connecting, Gripple connectors and brace cable kits will be used for brace anchor tensioning.
AGI Wheatheart makes pounding easy
AGI produces the Wheatheart Renegade Post Pounder, which makes post pounding easy with power and portability.
See the Wheatheart Renegade mast raise up to 11′ 11″ with 660 pounds of hammer pressure. The bolt-on hammerhead has several mounting positions to accommodate different post heights, and the greaseless poly slides are low maintenance.
The Wheatheart Renegade is as strong as ever and continues to improve with its latest model featuring a new post hugger that is easy to adjust on the go. The telescoping hitch, telescoping mast and four-way tilt direction provide farmers with the flexibility to work on uneven surfaces to pound posts exactly where they need to be. It has a built-in post bin to hold and transport posts, and a standard hydraulic post hugger.
Come see the FenceFast and AGI systems in action, along with other fencing systems being exhibited in BMO Livestock Central, to find a product that can makes your job easier.
Fencing demonstrations will be held daily at 10:00 a.m. in BMO Livestock Central.
