Langham, SK., Apr. 4, 2019 – The internationally recognized Farm Show Council has accepted Ag in Motion as a member.
Established in 1972, the Farm Show Council was formed to maintain the highest standards of excellence for exhibitor and attendee experience at agricultural trade shows in the United States, Canada and New Zealand. To be accepted as a member, Ag in Motion was evaluated to ensure the show reached the required high level of excellence.
“We are very excited to be accepted as a Farm Show Council member and are looking forward to being a part of the idea sharing process, seeking mutual ways to ensure a positive experience for our attendees and exhibitors,” says Rob O’Connor, Show Director of Ag in Motion.
As part of the Farm Show Council, Ag in Motion will be amongst 23 established agricultural trade shows. Representatives from these trade shows meet annually to exchange ideas and opportunities with the ultimate goal of improving the show experience for their audiences. Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show, also owned and operated by Glacier FarmMedia, is a long-time member.
Going forward, Ag in Motion will be evaluated every five years on show experience, attendance and exhibitor numbers.
“I have no doubt that Ag in Motion will benefit from membership in the council and provide valuable contribution to future discussions,” says Doug Wagner, President of Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show. “We’re proud to see Ag in Motion and Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show represented as premium agricultural events in North America.”
The Ag in Motion team will join representatives from Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show at the next Farm Show Council meeting taking place on April 28, 2019 in Raleigh, NC.
