Nov 17, 2021 | News

Saskatoon, SK., November 17, 2021 – On December 1, Ag in Motion™ will host its final 2021 digital event on the topic of Accelerating Ag Innovation. The event features different ways farmers and companies are implementing innovative approaches on the farm to help with profitability and sustainability.

The digital event day will begin with a live Tech Talk Panel of Glacier FarmMedia technology writers. Scott Garvey, Robin Booker and Ron Lyseng will discuss unique innovations they have seen throughout 2021, which developments are coming soon to the farm and the answers to our attendee’s questions.

“With harvest behind us, this is the time of year when farmers think about future planning,” says Rob O’Connor, Ag in Motion Show Director. “We wanted to share a glimpse of unique new products and services that are on the horizon, and ways that innovative thinking can change the game on the farm.”

O’Connor says that the digital event on December 1 features these additional presentations:

  • Manitoba farmer David Rourke will share how his farm business has gone through multiple reinventions over four decades as business, ecological and ethical goals shifted over time.
  • Increasing Your Odds for Success: in this RBC-sponsored presentation, speaker Dr. David Kohl, Professor Emeritus at Virginia Tech, will present opportunities that exist for managing a business proactively in spite of current economic megatrend shifts.
  • Boldly Grow with Raven Driverless Ag Technology: new options in driverless technology are available now with easy-to-implement autonomous solutions OMNiDRIVE™ and OMNiPOWER™.
  • Fields and Finances: Tales from the Farm Accountant: host Krista Kilback of FCC AgExpert chats with Kathy Neufeld, manager at Stark and Marsh, about managing farm books effectively.
  • Find out how Corteva Agriscience™ is changing the agriculture game through a live discussion on new product launches, biologicals and a focus on the customer.
  • Field of STARS Presented by Bayer 2021 Wrap Up: In an overview of the 2021 Field of STARS campaign, hear about the total raised that goes to support the Critical Care Anywhere Operations.

The December 1 Ag in Motion digital event is the final in a series of six digital events in 2021. Registration for a digital pass is free and gives farmers access to current and past sessions until December 31, 2021. Farmers can view sessions with practical and actionable tips and tools on various topics like quality testing of livestock water, seeding efficiency, wheat research, new products and services for the farm, and more.
