“Being in our ninth year of the show, we are excited to see the show continue to grow so much, especially among our farm audience,” says Ag in Motion Show Director Rob O’Connor. “This year we had a record number of 580 exhibitors join us as well. We can see how much the offering of demonstrations, new product launches and exciting features at the show is delivering what famers want in an outdoor farm show.”
As Western Canada’s largest outdoor farm expo, O’Connor says that Ag in Motion also drew interest from international audiences, attracting delegates from Australia, France, Germany, India, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Ukraine, United Kingdom and the United States to see the latest in innovative technology that is shaping the future of farming on the Prairies.
Along with equipment demonstrations featuring the latest technology such as autonomous machinery, high-speed tillage equipment, state-of-the-art sprayers, drones and more, AgTech was also a highlight of the show.
Five companies received awards under the TD Agriculture Services Innovations Program at Ag in Motion. A sold-out AgTech Breakfast on July 19, hosted by partners Bioenterprise, AGTECH ACCELERATOR, Global Institute for Food Security, Innovation Saskatchewan, MNP, Olds College of Agriculture Technology, SaskTel, SREDA and FCC, gave farmers and innovators the chance to connect and discuss technological advancements and the future of the agriculture industry.
“It’s great to see our community getting together each summer and sharing their excitement over what can be done to advance the industry,” notes O’Connor. “We are very proud to be creating a space where these connections can happen.”
Ag in Motion hosted the ninth annual outdoor farm show on 100 acres of Discovery Farm Langham from July 18-20, 2023, just northwest of Saskatoon, Sask. For more information, visit aginmotion.ca.
