Langham, Sask., July 23, 2025 – From soil health strategies to crop tours and cattle shows, Ag in Motion offered a powerful look at the future of farming right in the field. The show concluded on
July 17, following three days of showcasing agricultural innovation, technology and hands-on demonstrations at the largest outdoor farm show in Western Canada near Langham, Sask.
This year’s event attracted about 30,000 visitors, similar to the attendance at past years’ shows. The scope of the event and the coordination required to stage it was again captured by Welcome to the Farm Show, a Canadian docuseries produced by The Western Producer. Filming Season Two took place onsite throughout the week and will air on YouTube, offering behind-the-scenes insights into the complexity involved in organizing the show.
“Our goal has always been to create a show that reflects the innovation and resilience of the agriculture community,” says Rob O’Connor, show director. “It’s not just about featuring equipment; it’s about solving real challenges on farms and connecting people who are building the future of agriculture.”
A highlight was the Ag in Motion Innovations Program, which featured 27 companies across specialized categories of Agronomics, AgTech, Business Solutions, Environmental Sustainability and Equipment. The program recognizes forward-thinking solutions that support the evolution of modern agriculture.
International participation at Ag in Motion continues to expand, with official delegations from Ukraine, Uganda, Ghana, Ethiopia, India and Australia in attendance, along with exhibitors from Poland, the Czech Republic and Northern Ireland. This global presence reinforced Ag in Motion’s reputation as an important place for agricultural advancement and international collaboration.
This year also marked the debut of the Junior Cattle Show on the opening day of Ag in Motion. The event showcased the next generation of livestock producers and provided a new way for younger participants to actively show off their developing skills to a wide audience. Young livestock competitors from across the Prairies demonstrated their skills in showmanship, grooming and cattle handling.
As the gates close on another successful year, with plans already underway for 2026, Ag in Motion’s show director Rob O’Connor reflected on the team behind the scenes.
“None of this would be possible without the hard work and dedication of every person who helps bring the show to life,” he says. “We’re already looking forward to next year.”
