Cattle Dog Competition
The Cattle Dog Competition a new addition to Ag in Motion in 2023. The competition will feature a strong contingent of prairie-based dog/handler tandems, including Justin Hozack, a cow-calf producer from Marwayne, Alta. Each team will be tasked with efficiently and humanely moving a small herd of cattle through a set course. The dogs’ performance will be scored based on speed and accuracy.
The competition is divided into five classes: Nursery, Novice, Intermediate, Open, and Horseback. This structure showcases the different skill levels and techniques of the participating dogs and handlers.

The Peavy Mart Rural Pavilion
The Peavey Mart Rural Pavilion will host up to 35 exhibitors showcasing a diverse range of products and services. Attendees can expect to find farm and garden supplies, tools for livestock, pet supplies, farm building construction, camera systems, lighting, and more. Additionally, Peavey Mart will have a booth offering a select range of retail products within the pavilion.

The Livestock Handling Equipment Demonstrations at Ag in Motion, sponsored by the Saskatchewan Stock Growers Association, offer producers the chance to see stress-free equipment and learn about safe animal handling.
