Fan-Favourite Equipment Demonstrations Back at Ag in Motion 2022

Jun 16, 2022 | News

Saskatoon, Sask., June16, 2022 – As part of the “see, touch, connect” experience at Ag in Motion in 2022, a key highlight for many is the chance to take a hands-on approach to learning about new equipment.

“While farmers appreciate seeing the equipment up close, it’s important that they have the opportunity to explore the features and handling capabilities themselves,” says Rob O’Connor, Ag in Motion Show Director. “This is the type of environment where we see the equipment in action and questions can be asked in real time.”

Field demonstrations, presented by Meridian OneCap, will feature air seeders and tillage equipment live in the field, including the revolutionary Ultra SR precision seeding tool from SeedMaster Manufacturing, the Case IH Speed-Tiller and more. Exhibitor-led demonstrations will feature equipment from Mojow Autonomous Solutions, Neeralta Manufacturing Inc. and Raven Industries.“

With the exhibitor-led demos, we’ll see everything from grain handling equipment to artificial intelligence and robotics,” says O’Connor. “It’s a chance to observe the innovations being made on these machines and compare results so that farmers can have confidence knowing they’ve chosen the best option for their farm.”

Additional opportunities for hands-on learning include Ride & Drives, an area where farmers can test drive sprayers across 1,500 feet, and drone demos for a chance to test-fly a mini drone weighing less than 250 grams. Ride & Drives will feature companies like Apache Sprayers, Case IH, Horsch Canada, John Deere, New Holland and more. Drone demos will feature three companies: Axiom Applied Analytics, LandView Drones and SKY AG tech.

Over 500 companies will showcase their products and services at Ag in Motion in 2022. Since the show is held outdoors, agricultural equipment and crop technology will be displayed in a field situation. Crop plot displays and livestock demonstrations will also be available to explore throughout the 100+ acres of the show where visitors can see the newest innovations all in one place.

Ag in Motion will take place July 19-21, 2022 at Discovery Farm Langham, located just 15 minutes northwest of Saskatoon, Sask. Tickets to the show and a more detailed overview of what’s happening at Ag in Motion 2022 can be found at aginmotion.ca.
