Keeping Farmers ‘Fit To Farm’

by | Jun 13, 2018 | News

Kathlyn Hossack is a Certified Athletic Therapist and Kinesiologist from Manitoba, where she owns and operates Integrative Movement & Katmah Training. Kathlyn is known for her passion for helping farmers recover from injury, repetitive strains, and manage chronic pain that has arose from farm work. Kathlyn writes a regular column in Grainews called ‘Fit to Farm’, where she talks about how to avoid injury while working, and answers email questions from readers across the prairies who have questions regarding farm related injury. If farmers need direct help, she offers hands on treatments, sets up training programs online or refers them to an Athletic Therapist in their area.

Find Kathlyn at the Grainews booth in the Scotiabank Farm Pavilion at Ag in Motion 2018, where she will be giving free assessments and tips to farmers to avoid farm related injury.
