Productivity, equipment & markets covered at July Ag in Motion digital event

Saskatoon, SK., July 15, 2021 – The upcoming July 20 Ag in Motion™ digital event day brings important technology updates, tips on boosting profitability and expert analysis of the volatile markets to light in a one-day digital event.  

Speakers at the Tuesday, July 20 digital event day will share information on the theme Research and Tire-Kicking to Inform Your Decisions, presented by AGI. The Ag in Motion digital event is free to attend and farmers only need to register for a digital pass at aginmotion.ca.  

Highlights include:  

  • Finding the Sweet Spot Between Harvest Productivity and Profitability: with farmer Joel McDonald, and former Prairie Agricultural Machinery Institute (PAMI) engineer  
  • Tracking Electric Drive Development: Machinery Writer Scott Garvey takes a look at the growth in electric drive for vehicles and how this technology has changed aspects of farm machinery design  
  • AGI SureTrack – Data Driven Decisions For Your Farm: Alicia Cowieson of AGI shares an overview of the AGI SureTrack platform to help farmers make field management decisions and manage grain after harvest  
  • Maximize Your Canola Acre Profit Opportunity with Brevant™ seeds Nexera® Canola: this LIVE Corteva™ Agriscience roundtable session offers more on Brevant™ seeds Nexera® canola, and shares what’s coming for 2022  
  • Brandt XT-Series Grain Cart Showcase: A behind-the-scenes look at the development of the XT-Series, plus the features and innovations that set the grain cart apart  
  • Navigating a Challenging 2021 Crop Season: experts from MarketsFarm will discuss the challenging crop conditions in western Canada so far, and share a markets and weather update

The July 20 Ag in Motion digital event is the third in a series of six events planned for 2021. Registration for a digital pass is free and gives farmers all-year access to past sessions plus first-to-hear notification for future sessions and special offers. Information will remain online until December 31, 2021, so farmers can come back to the digital event platform to view the information later when their schedule allows.
