LANGHAM, Saskatchewan – July 24, 2017 – Ag in Motion™, Western Canada’s outdoor farm expo, has welcomed a record 25,787 attendees this year.
“The number of attendees this year is unprecedented – the growth the show has seen in just three years is inspiring, and speaks to the interest so many farmers in Western Canada have in seeing new technology in action,” says Rob O’Connor, Show Director. “We are beyond thrilled with attendance and the feedback we’ve received from farmers and exhibitors.”
Ag in Motion attracted 409 exhibitors, more than double the first show held in 2015. The attendance of 25,787 compares with the first show in 2015, when it hosted 11,468 farmers and 200 exhibitors. In 2016 these numbers grew to 16,830 farmers and 302 exhibitors. This year, the Expo exceeded all expectations and swelled to 25,787 attendees, a 50% increase from 2016.
“The support from exhibitors and sponsors has helped Ag in Motion to become a staple farm show and demonstration event for farmers in Western Canada,” O’Connor continues. “Our team sincerely thanks the companies who have contributed to this year’s success.”
The excitement for 2018 is already building, as planning for next year’s show begins. “Our planning team has already begun discussions regarding next year’s demonstration program. And we will continue to improve the site. We aren’t done making infrastructure improvements.”
Ag in Motion was held in Langham, Saskatchewan on July 18-20, 2017. Next year’s Expo will be held July 17-19, 2018. For more information, visit aginmotion.ca.
